Their closeness to one another has caused a lot of speculation, and now, despite their supposedly being on opposite sides of a new feud, the chemistry between Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will continue to be questioned on The Young and the Restless.

The two continually grew closer when they were working together to steal Passkey away from Newman and take down Victor (Eric Braden), but after Jack (Peter Bergman) struck a deal with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that allowed both Jabot and Newman to profit from the program, and forced Billy out in the process, Billy went on the warpath against both his ex and his brother. Now, Phyllis, after seeing Billy with Fiona (Hannah Barefoot) assumed he was sleeping with her so he could get prime shelf space for his products now that he has acquired Brash and Sassy, and she has firmly sided with her husband in the dispute.

However, Fiona sensed when she saw Phyllis slap Billy that there was more to the situation, and that she was actually upset because another woman was potentially headed to his bed, someplace Fiona thinks Phyllis wants to be. Phyllis denied it, but that won't stop Fiona from voicing her suspicions to Jack, giving him a warning that his wife could be preparing to stray, and in a very big way.

"What's going on between your brother and your wife?" Fiona asks in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 11 episode.

Meanwhile, Billy is still hashing things out with Victoria, as the two continue bickering over nearly anything they can think about, with their new issue relating to what Billy thinks was Victoria's role in Brash and Sassy's products no longer being carried at Fiona's store. As they bicker, a still grieving Nick (Joshua Morrow) will show up, and with his own missed opportunities to give Sage the life she wanted before she died in mind, he will once again urge the two to try and work out their differences once and for all.

"Stop trying to make everyone think you don't belong together because no one's buying it," he says to them both in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
