He thought that Douglas was his little brother, but Thomas (Pierson Fode) has finally learned the truth about the baby being his son on The Bold and the Beautiful, and he will be further stunned when he realizes his father still won't let him take on the responsibilities of raising his own son.

After they realized that Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) was pregnant with Thomas's child after their drunken night together, she and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) quickly took action to make sure everyone would believe the baby was his, and since virtually no one knew that he had a vasectomy while in Paris, they were able to get away with no one suspecting otherwise. However, after Ridge's urologist, Dr. Wolin, showed back up and started attempting to blackmail Ridge since he knew the truth, the situation became vastly more complicated.

Before his death, Wolint old Katie (Heather Tom) that Ridge wasn't Douglas's father, which led to her questioning both him and Caroline about it until she finally got the truth out of Caroline about Thomas. She then told Ridge he had to tell the truth, or she would do it for him. Now, Ridge has done just that, and has stunned his son in the process. However, when Thomas demands to be a part of his son's life in the way that matters, Ridge will adamantly refuse to let him do any such thing.

"I'm not going to let you or anyone else destroy my family with Caroline," he says to Thomas in a preview clip for the Monday, May 9 episode.

Meanwhile, Caroline is panicking about how Thomas will take the news, scared that his reaction will be one that has massive consequences for her. And as she waits, Katie will try to assure her that this is the right path to take, no matter how it plays out.

"This is best for everyone," Katie says in the clip. "For you, for Ridge, for Thomas, and for his son."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
