'Bold and the Beautiful' (B&B) Spoilers: Caroline Makes A Decision Regarding Douglas's Future [VIDEO]
She has been reunited with her son after Thomas (Pierson Fode) kidnapped him and brought him to the Forrester cabin when he learned he was the biological father, and now, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) will need to decide if she will let him actually be a part of his son's life on The Bold and the Beautiful.
When she realized she was pregnant with his child after their drunken night together, she and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) decided to claim the baby as their own, even though Ridge couldn't conceive a child any longer. However, after Dr. Wolin told Katie (Heather Tom) that Ridge couldn't be Douglas's father, and he died not long after, she began digging and managed to get the truth out of the two. Ridge was then forced to admit the truth to Thomas, but refused to give up what he had with Caroline and told Thomas he would have no rights to his son.
Afterwards, Thomas took advantage of an unsuspecting Pam (Alley Mills) and took Douglas, telling Caroline where he was so they could talk and forbidding Ridge to come along. Now, he will plead with Caroline to reconsider letting Ridge control whether or not he gets to be a part of his son's life in the way he wants to be, in the hopes that his request will get through to her.
"Ridge has claimed his stake in my first-born son, and just wants to push me away," he says to Caroline in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 12, 2016 episode.
His words could come through to Caroline however, and her guilt she was feeling over keeping the secret for so long could convince her to let him have a say in how his son was raised, though she may still try to find a way to let Thomas have a role in Douglas's life, that also still allows Ridge to claim the boy as his own.
"I can't give back the time that you've lost not knowing he was yours," she says to him in the clip.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
