Gilmore Girls fans have waiting nearly a decade for the fabled "Finale Four Words," but, now that the end is nigh, the Lorelai and Rory's last lines might not be quite as conclusive as we thought.

The eponymous Gilmore Girls will return to Stars Hollow later this year for a four-part Netlfix revival. Now that filming has wrapped, the series' stars aren't quite sure the story is over.

"[It's] not necessarily a cliffhanger but it kind of is," Scott Patterson (Luke) teased coyly, according to Entertainment Weekly. "There's room for more. It didn't end... but maybe it did."

Whatever the case, Patterson is always up for more. As Lorelai, Lauren Graham shares his sentiments.

"To read the final episode, it's not totally final," Graham told Entertainment Weekly. "In the horror movie equivalent, all the aliens are dead. Wait. No, they're not! I keep saying, 'Hey, does anyone else notice this isn't actually an ending?' [executive producers] Amy [Sherman-Palladino] and Dan [Palladino] just giggle at me."

As far as the infamous finale lines are concerned, Graham was as in the dark as everyone else until filming beginning in January. Viewers will have to wait through four 90-minute episodes (have to? Get to is more like it!) before the big reveal, but it will certainly be worth it.

"[Sherman-Palladino] didn't realize that I didn't know them," Graham teased, according to TV Line. "It's actually been helpful not knowing them, because people ask me and I tell them I don't know -because I really didn't know. You know? So I asked her, 'Who says them?' And she says, 'Both of you.' That's all I can say. It's not, you know, in unison."
