Fans of AMC's Mad Men were in shock and awe on Sunday night when the rules of time were literally thrown out the window in its two-hour season 6 premiere.

The popular series featured a grownup Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardellini) engaging in a sexual relationship with everyone's favorite ad executive, Don Draper (Jon Hamm).

Sporting a bob haircut, Lindsay was able to woo Draper into bed, which The Hollywood Reporter calls the "biggest surprise at the end of the two-hour season six premiere of Mad Men on Sunday night, creating as much as any other element of the brooding and death-obsessed episode."

"That's not my hair. You know, it takes people a second to realize that it's me," Cardellini told Entertainment Weekly.

The former Freaks and Geeks actress also spoke to the entertainment site about the audience's reaction to her character, and how some people take her parts personally.

"I think everybody handles it differently and everybody has their level of sensitivity to it. You know, the hard thing about audiences not liking what a character does is that they sometimes take it out on the actor personally and that's something that you know when you become an actor or actress, but it's always hard to deal when it actually happens," she said.

AMC's Mad Men will return with its 3rd episode of season 6, titled The Collaborators on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT on the AMC network. A promo video for the respective episode can be viewed below.
