He brokered the deal that led to her marriage to Ramsay (Iwan Rheon), and the abuse which followed, and now, when Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) come face to face again, he will need to answer for what happened to her and whether he knew it was a possibility on Game of Thrones.

Sansa is now at Castle Black, reunited with her brother, Jon (Kit Harington), and also under the watchful eye of Brienne (Gwendolyn Christie) and Podrick (Daniel Portman), who became her protectors after they saved her and Theon (Alfie Allen) from Ramsay's men after their escape from Winterfell. Littlefinger had returned to the Vale to inform Robin (Lino Facioli) of what dangers could be facing his cousin, and was prepared to find a way to reunite with her.

Now, that reunion may happen at Castle Black, and despite all the time he seemed to only have her best interest at heart and protected her (first by helping her finally escape King's Landing after orchestrating Joffrey's murder, then keeping her close the entire time they stayed at the Vale during his marriage to Lysa), Sansa is no longer willing to take anything he tells her as something she should believe, because of everything she has been through at Ramsay's hands.

"Sansa," he says when he sees her again, in a preview clip for the Sunday, May 22 episode.

"Did you know about Ramsay?" She asks coldly.

Meanwhile, her younger brother, Bran (Isaac Hampstead-Wright) could be in trouble as well as he continues to train with the Three-Eyed Raven beyond the Wall. He has been warned that he can't stay in his visions for too long, but as he enters one where he learns about the army of White Walkers, he could be risking being in the vision too long, putting himself in danger in the process.

"Bran, Wake Up!" Meera (Ellie Kendrick) says in the clip as she fiercely shakes him, trying to snap him out of the vision.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
