Although it's still a couple of months away, fans continue to buzz over the season 6 return of HBO's True Blood.

One of its favorite actors, Alexander Skarsgard (Eric), recently spoke on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on April 9, and he dished on the upcoming season.

"Humans have never been a problem [for vampires]. But for the first time, they're actually a real threat. Eric's real busy this year."

Hollywood Life reported that Skarsgard's interview explains why Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) are being held up via gun in the vampire series' official teaser.

Aside from his combating with humans, the site reported that Eric will be trying to win over Sookie's (Anna Paquin) affections.

Rob Kazinsky will be joining the cast as Ben, a fairy who assists Ms. Stackhouse in uncovering the truth about her parents' death.

E! News had actually reported that Sookie would be getting a brand new romantic interest for the upcoming installment.

The site had a sit-down with her most recent onscreen love interest, Joe Manganiello (Alcide), who addressed his werewolf character's options moving forward in the romance department.

"Alcide is now the pack master, which means he has lots of dating options ... It's good to be the pack master! I remember I asked the producer, 'What do pack masters do all day? And they're like, 'They get all the were-b***hes!"
