Ruby Rose is hinting that her Orange Is the New Black character may be back in the upcoming fourth season of the Netflix dramedy.

Rose, who played Piper's (Taylor Schilling) sometimes love interest Stella Carlin in season 3 of Orange Is the New Black, may be seen in season 4. The actress alluded to this when asked directly if she was coming back to the show in a new Esquire interview.

"You'll have to wait and see. Obviously the way it was left off was that my character is in max, so...You'll have to wait and see. I would never want to give anything away," she teased.

As Rose noted, Stella was shipped off to maximum security prison in the season 3 finale after Piper hid contraband all over her room. It's a mystery exactly how they would incorporate Stella into the series again, especially considering the once-prominent character Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) was shipped off to maximum security early in season 3 and hasn't been seen since.

Rose previously spoke about the infectious quality of being on Orange Is the New Black.

"Every single person that works on that show is so brilliantly gifted in what they do that it just rubs off on you," she told AOL in January. "The quintessential thing on that show is that all of the women support each other. That's the biggest different between that show and some other shows that are out there: It's not a common thing for a show that has that many women - acting, directing, writing - all get along as well as the family at Orange do. It's true; we really do all get along so well. Everyone is so good at giving each other feedback and running lines with one another and talking about what we think our characters are doing next."

Orange Is the New Black season 4 is set to drop on Friday, June 17 on Netflix.
