Bloodline star Kyle Chandler isn't always sure where the show is going, but he does have one rather morbid goal for his character.

It's just about time for another season of dysfunctional family drama and tragedy on Bloodline. With the second season dropping this Friday on Netflix, many are eagerly anticipating what crazy twist might come next for the Florida Keys drama.

One of those people, ironically, is the star himself. Chandler, who plays John Rayburn on the series, recently spoke with Zap2It about possibly wanting his character to die.

"As far as alternative endings, literally written pages coming down to us, I haven't seen that. And I question that too, because if a show doesn't come back, how do you end it? So I floated the balloon, 'Kill John!' I would love to die," Chandler said. "But the show looks to be in good shape because they haven't considered any alternative endings such as that."

When asked to tease what's next for John, who notably killed his brother Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) in the penultimate episode of season 1, Chandler was tight-lipped.

"I can't explain it. At the end of the first season, when the script came out with how it ended. I thought to myself, 'How am I gonna do this? What am I gonna do?' and I just threw it to the wind. So, I'm in for the ride," he said. "Do I know where John is going? We don't know. I don't have anything to look forward to. I try to guess what they're gonna do, but I don't know."

He continued, "It's like a dart into a balloon. We're in Episode 209 today. There has to be a fireworks finale, but we don't know what it is. We're all trying to figure out what's happening in 210."

Chandler did tease that the Rayburn family dynamic has shifted, as they protect the secrets of their past.

"There's certainly a leveling. Everyone's got a few different cards now, and everyone's hiding a few of the cards."

Bloodline season 2 is set to drop Friday, May 27 on Netflix.
