'The 100' Season 4: When Will Series Return? Marie Avgeropoulos Drops Teasers [VIDEO]
The 100 is about to go nuclear...again.
Nearly a century ago, Earth suffered a nuclear apocalypse thanks to the sinister machinations of a certain AI. The Arkers returned to ground under the assumption that it was finally safe (ha!), but, according to ALIE, the world will soon be flooded with radiation once more.
The world's nuclear reactors are on the fritz, and, while Arkers and Grounders alike would have been safe in the City of Light, multiple meltdowns could end humanity once and for all. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2017 to find out how Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Co. will weasel their way out this conundrum - and how many lives they'll have to sacrifice in the process.
"There's a lot of twists and turns coming up for season 4, which is going to air next year between January and March," Marie Avgeropoulos (Octavia) told E! Online at The CW upfronts earlier this month.
Currently, the series' scribes are busy hashing out the ups and downs of The 100's next adventure. The writers room reopened just as "Perverse Instantiation: Part 2" hit the air (see video below), and Jason Rothenberg's team quickly took to Twitter to give fans a look into the creative process.
Season 4's seemingly impossible mission...
...followed by a little break from the post-apocalyptic gloom...
...before resigning to the fact that nothing every goes quite as planned when the Adventure Squad is involved.
