'Mad Men' Season 6 Spoilers: More Womanizing From Don To Come? Details [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
AMC's Mad Men kicked off with a bang this past weekend, as everyone's favorite advertisement executive and anti-hero, Don Draper (Jon Hamm) returned to doing what he's notorious for - womanizing.
When the fifth season had wrapped, Draper had made the decision to leave his wife Megan (Jessica Pare). However, according to new photos, it appears as though he's fully back to his extracurricular bedroom activities, as he can be seen in bed with a striking brunette. To top it off, the woman he's in lust with is reportedly his neighbor's wife, according to Daily Mail.
Although he's indeed notorious for remaining discreet when it comes to upcoming spoilers on the popular series, showrunner Matthew Weiner had spoken to Entertainment Weekly and addressed the story arc moving forward for the upcoming season.
"The whole story of the season is the answer to 'Are you alone?' It does not have to do with those women at the bar. It doesn't mean lonely," he said.
Weiner also offered some input to The New York Times, stating that the show "will advance in time, as it does. I can't say how much or how little."
While the showrunner refused to get into specifics, he did address the character development of Don, who will supposedly experience another relationship, which may not turn out as expected.
"We're coming off a period in Don's [Draper] life where he's trying to normalize, and trying to have this relationship - a real relationship with this woman [Megan] that he fell in love with. She expressed her desires [to return to acting] and that was a surprise for him. On this show, it's very rich, full orchestra, and we like to follow what is the next stage in these people's lives."
AMC's Mad Men will be premiering its next episode, titled The Collaboraters, on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT.
