'Days of Our Lives' (DOOL) Spoilers: Hope Comforts A Distraught Aiden [VIDEO]
She was torn and trying to keep her distance from him because of their complicated past and his connection to the DiMeras, but Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will find herself drawn to Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) again after Chase (Jonathan McClendon) winds up in the hospital on the brink of death on Days of Our Lives.
After Aiden visited Chase at the prison and told him he would try to get him out of there and admitted instead into a psychiatric facility while he tried to get the rape charges against him dropped, Chase refused and ran off. Not long after, Aiden was informed that his son got into a prison yard fight and was stabbed, and is now in critical condition and barely clinging to life during his surgery. Now, as a distraught Aiden is faced with the possibility of his son dying so soon after he finally made it back to Salem, he will get comfort from Hope.
Hope has been mainly trying to keep her distance, because even though he's proven his story about being kidnapped by the DiMeras and replaced with a look alike, she still can't get past the fact that he had been hired to seduce her and eventually kill her. In addition, she has started moving on with Rafe (Galen Gering) recently, and is happy in the new romance. But now, she will reach out to Aiden since she knows what it is like to be a concerned parent, and knows he needs a familiar face and shoulder to cry on as he waits for word on his son's delicate condition.
However, the move could prove to be one that is a mistake later on, as Aiden may read more into it than Hope actually means. Or even worse, the two could start to grow closer again, and if she gets closer, Hope could once again remember the good times they did have together, and may feel tempted to give the man who is legally still her husband a second chance, even if it destroys not only what it is she has with Rafe, but her relationship with her daughter Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) as well, since she was Chase's rape victim.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
