To the excitement of its many fans, Doctor Who is set to return to the BBC this Saturday in the United Kingdom with an all-new episode titled Cold War.

This week's highly anticipated episode will follow a thrilling The Rings of Akhaten that featured several twists and turns.

The show's upcoming installment will mark the return of one of the Doctor's (Matt Smith) past enemies, according to Den of Geek,

Pre-credits of the upcoming show will reveal a nuclear submarine that's in the midst of launching a deadly missile into the atmosphere, while 1980s music blares in the background. It's later learned that the sub is occupied by Russians during the time period of the Cold War. The website also stated that a creature from the past will be making an appearance for the first time in decades.

The unidentified monster will be used sparingly in the episode, which will include interesting plot twists to keep viewers intrigued, the report stated.

Doctor Who is set to make its return to BBC One in the U.K. on Saturday, April 13, at 8/7 p.m. C.
