An investigation is ongoing into what exactly has happened to Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), and two people who had some big motives for wanting him dead will find themselves at the center of it all on General Hospital.

He left the Nurses' Ball early, and was later found at Wyndemere, bloodied and unconscious on the rocks below, with his bedroom window broken. Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) quickly rushed down to the water to find him, but his body appeared to then disappear into the current. After, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) also arrived at the scene, and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) was quickly called to investigate. Now, Jason is her prime suspect in the case, and she won't hesitate to let him know that he could soon find himself being charged with either attempted murder or, if Nikolas' body doesn't turn up, or is found and he is dead, actual murder.

"You know exactly how Nikolas fell, and I think you pushed him," she says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, June 1 episode.

Meanwhile, back at Wyndemere, Hayden is also a suspect, even though the truth about what her motives would be aren't yet known to the cops. However, a distraught Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who is anxious for word about her friend, knows not only the truth about Hayden blackmailing Nikolas with the truth about his having her shot last year, but she is also aware of the diamonds he stole from her, and with all that information in mind, she won't hesitate to assume that the woman who still calls herself Nikolas' wife had something to do with his potential death.

"You had all the motive to kill him," she snaps in the clip.

However, her comment will lead to an unexpected consequence when Nikolas' son, Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) returns home and immediately wants to know what's going on, meaning they will have to break the news to him that his father could be dead.

"Did somebody die?" He asks in the clip.
