FX's hit TV series Sons of Anarchy has quite a while until its sixth season premiere in the fall but more news has come out on the series, stating that Drea de Matteo (Wendy) will be coming back for multiple episodes.

Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) ex-wife - who is also the mother to both Abel and Thomas - could very well put the SAMCRO leader's livelihood in major turmoil, according to TVLine,

In a successful ploy to maintain custody of the kids and stop Wendy from airing his dirty laundry to the Charming authorities, Jax injected his ex with heroin. The incident will serve as the primary motivator for her vengeance.

Carter Matt reported that although Wendy was at the losing end of the battle, it's still likely that she'll be looking to win a personal war against him. While Jax has seemed to have put SAMCRO's livelihood ahead of his own family, Sons creator Kurt Sutter said he's still in the process of searching his own soul:

"Not that he doesn't love or want to care for his family, but I think he's trying to step back and assess who he is and what his priorities are and what his responsibilities are as a man."

The showrunner said that Jax will still be looking out for the club's best interest, including trying to minimize their problems with the law.

"I think the club lands pretty high on that list coming into this season, so I think he'll continue to do the right thing by the club," he said. "Try to get them into more legitimate businesses, and try to do things to allow them to earn like any good outlaw boss would do, and keep them out of the crosshairs with the law."

Sons of Anarchy is set to premiere its sixth season on Wednesday, Sept.11. Keep checking back for more of the latest details.
