'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 4: Will Hunter & Bobbi Return? Nick Blood Talks Future Without 'Most Wanted' [VIDEO]
The fate of Marvel's Lance Hunter and Bobbi Morse is up in the air.
Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki's characters were set to top-line ABC's Marvel's Most Wanted this fall, but, in their infant wisdom, the network passed on the spinoff for the second year running. Now, fans are wondering if the agents' Russian escapades will keep them from ever returning to the mother ship.
It's a question that Blood doesn't have any answers to (or at least none Marvel will let him spill to the public).
"Who knows?" Blood laughingly told The Geekery at MCM Comic Con Hanover.
Coulson (Clark Gregg) pulled out all the stops to keep his agents from becoming inmates on the next episode of Locked Up Abroad, but he couldn't keep them in the agency. If Hunter and Bobbi could shake their pasts, Coulson would snap them back up in record time. Too bad he's no longer the Director. Chances are, if our heroes do link up with SHIELD once more, it will be to aid their old boss in an entirely unsanctioned mission.
While fans wait for Blood's character to return, they can relive Hunter and Mockingbird's show stopping farewell (see a preview below).
"It was one of my favorite episodes to shoot, actually. It's been kind of built up for a little while and the writer who wrote that episode was a big fan of our characters (he co-wrote the pilot for Most Wanted)," the actor explained. "It was just fun because we got to do a lot of stuff in that. I particularly liked all the interrogation room scenes with did with Adrian because you get to see a different side of the character."
Find out if the wayward agents will return when Agents of SHIELD jumps to Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET this fall.
