'Game of Thrones' Season 3 Spoilers: Viewers To Be 'Super Shocked' By Rest Of Season, Details [VIDEO]
Finally underway for its third season, HBO's hit cable series Game of Thrones continues to go beyond the expectations of its loyalists.
Sophie Turner, who plays the role of Sansa Stark, recently spoke to Wired about what the show's loyalists can expect from the rest of the upcoming season.
"The show is kind of an adaptation of the books. Everything is pretty much the same with one or two of differences. Season 3, there are kind of bigger differences, I guess. The book readers will be super shocked, I think," explained Turner.
While the first two seasons did stay considerably true to George R.R. Martin's original novels, Turner indicated that "[in] season 3, there are kind of bigger differences. The book readers will be super shocked."
The current season is said to mostly revolve around the happenings of the first portion of the third book, titled A Storm of Swords.
Martin, the author, told Wired that "the divisions into novels is almost arbitrary. I'm writing one story that has a beginning and quite a lot of middle, and hopefully an end."
Last week's show featured Sansa at a loss for words, as her heavy friction with the royal family increased.
Shae questioned Tyrion for a fairly important favor while Arya stumbled upon the Brotherhood Without Banners.
Margery's grandmother pressed Sansa to be truthful to King Joffrey, and then told him to just "do whatever he needs to do."
Jaime informed Brienne of Tarth that she's not Renly's type. Brienne then became angry and grabbed his head, telling him to shut up.
However, Jaime then consoled her by saying that she can't choose who she falls in love with.
Game of Thrones will next air on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT. Keep checking back for the latest details on the series.
