They're supposed to be planning a wedding and making plans for a future together, but now that Nathan (Ryan Paevy) has finally come clean to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about his past, that could all be on the line now on General Hospital.

After he recovered from a traumatic head injury inflicted by Carlos during his prison escape, Nathan decided to come clean with the entire truth about his past history with his first wife, Claudette. He finally admitted to Maxie that he had been drinking a lot at the end of the marriage, and one night, walked in and saw his wife and the man she was cheating on him with in bed, and he shot at the man in revenge. He knows the man didn't die, but he admitted he never got the chance to make amends with the man because he was never able to find him. However, despite his finally telling her, Maxie was unsettled by not only the truth, but the fact that he had been keeping it from her for so long.

As a result, she told him she was leaving and spending a few days at her parents while she thought things through, and now, he will be left wondering if she still wants to marry him.

"We're still together, aren't we?" He asks her in a preview clip for the Tuesday, June 7 episode.

However, Maxie may not have a solid answer for him, because this has changed how she feels about him and sees the man she fell in love and agreed to marry, because this shows he isn't the same man she knew him to be. Because she doesn't know if she can trust him to not have a similar reaction should she ever do something he deems as being disrespectful to her, it has her rattled. She is also unsure of how to feel about the fact that he lied to her repeatedly about the story with Claudette, and that he didn't tell her everything all at once.
