Despite being on hiatus until June, HBO's True Blood has continued to garner speculation over how it sixth season will play out.

One character that has been an interesting topic of discussion as of late is Jesus Velasquez (Kevin Alejandro). While the respective character was clearly killed off in the past, he clearly is able to return in the world of vampires. Alejandro would indeed be down to reprise his role in the upcoming season if the opportunity presented itself, according to Wet Paint.

"Oh, absolutely, man, anytime!" he said. "Anytime. I enjoyed that show so much, I would absolutely go back."

Alexander Skarsgard (Eric), was a guest on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on April 9 and dished about the show's upcoming season. He said, "Humans have never been a problem [for vampires]. But for the first time, they're actually a real threat. Eric's real busy this year."

Skarsgard's interview explains why Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) are being held up via gun in the vampire series' official teaser, according to Hollywood Life. Aside from his combating with humans, the website noted that Eric will be trying to win over Sookie's (Anna Paquin) affections. However, E! News reported that Sookie would be getting a brand new romantic interest for the upcoming installment.

Rob Kazinsky will be joining the cast as Ben, a fairy who assists Ms. Stackhouse in uncovering the truth about her parents' death.

Sookie's most recent onscreen love interest, Joe Manganiello (Alcide), addressed his werewolf character's options moving forward in the romance department:

"Alcide is now the pack master, which means he has lots of dating options ... It's good to be the pack master! I remember I asked the producer, 'What do pack masters do all day? And they're like, 'They get all the were-b***hes!"

True Blood is scheduled to make its return on Sunday, June 16, on HBO. Keep checking back for more details on the upcoming season.
