Those looking forward to the Big Brother 18 cast announcement Monday should be disappointed by this news.

The Big Brother Twitter account announced late Sunday night that the special "Meet the Houseguests Live" presentation would not happen on Monday. The cast was expected to be unveiled on the Big Brother live feeds starting at 11 a.m. ET, but this has been delayed.

Instead, the cast interviews will be available on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET on the live feeds, the Twitter post revealed. While many fans became angered and speculated that there may have been last-minute casting issues, a new post on the Big Brother Facebook page says that the delay is "in light of the recent tragedy in Orlando."

Meanwhile, many are still speculating as to the overall makeup of the Big Brother 18 cast. Rumors of returning players have swirled for several months, and now there are conflicting reports about four veteran players returning to the game alongside new players. The website reality blurred reports that there will be four coaches in the same vein as the season 14 twist, with the following players acting as coaches: Big Brother 14 winner Ian Terry, Big Brother 16 winner Derrick Levasseur and Big Brother 17 standouts Audrey Middleton and Vanessa Rousso.

Then there's Big Brother Canada houseguest Jordan Parhar, who claims to have inside knowledge that the four returning players are in fact Big Brother 14's Frank Eudy, Big Brother 16's Nicole Franzel and Big Brother 17's Da'Vonne Rogers and James Huling.

It is still unknown which report is correct, or if the upcoming season will even feature returning players at all.

Big Brother 18 premieres Wednesday, June 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The show will air in its regular days and timeslots as usual: Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 9 p.m. and Sundays at 8 p.m.
