She was supposed to tell Jack (Peter Bergmann) the truth so he didn't learn it from someone else, but not only will Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) be unable to tell him about her affair with Billy (Jason Thompson), but she will find herself betraying him with his brother a second time on The Young and the Restless.

She insisted on telling her husband alone, but after imagining a scenario where he went to kill Billy after learning the truth, she will falter, and after saying that the thing that has her upset is Billy, she will come up with a different problem all together.

"You're upset about Billy? Has he done something to you?" Jack asks in a preview clip for the Tuesday, June 14 episode.

Instead of coming clean, she will instead discuss Billy's posed (unknown to Jack) relationship with Bethany (Chrishell Stause), and she will discuss how she feels upset for the girl since it's clear to everyone that Billy is using her as a rebound girl. She will then quickly leave on the guise of working for the foundation, and she will head to see Billy instead.

When she arrives, she will admit she couldn't tell Jack the truth, and Billy will reassure her by saying he will be the one to tell Jack. Then after both admit they just can't stay away from one another, they will find themselves quickly giving in to the passion between them again, taking things to the couch and having sex for a second time, which will make it even more difficult for them to tell Jack the truth, because before, they had the fact that their sleeping together was a one-time thing on their side, but now, they are engaged in a full-blown affair.

Unfortunately for them both, they may also need to be prepared to come clean sooner, because as they get dressed following their recent romp, Jack will arrive at his brother's house, and could come close to catching them in the act.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
