He is presumed dead in Salem, but not only is Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) still alive, but he's on the mend on Days of Our Lives.

After he washed up on shore following Kate (Lauren Koslow) hitting him with her purse, causing him to get a head injury when he hit a tree and then falling into the river, he managed to get himself to a gas station to call for help. And of all people to show up and help him is none other than Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), who takes him under her wing, brings him home, and starts to nurse him back to health.

Chloe however believes he is a man named Robert, unaware he is actually Deimos Kiriakis, and could be putting her in danger, especially if he learns of her connection to Nicole (Arianne Zucker), who he knows was trying to seduce him to get revenge for Victor (John Aniston) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).

However, the bigger danger in his being alive on his way back to health will be the one he poses to Kate, who saw his falling into the river as an opportunity. She was jealous he actually wanted Nicole and had only agreed to marry her because of their ability to be a powerful couple. After she attacked him and he disappeared into the river, she assumed he had died, and found the ring he had presented to Nicole on the ground. She put it on her own finger, then hired Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) to get her forged marriage certificates. After, she went to Roman (Josh Charles), showed him the video she had taped of Nicole and Deimos arguing, and then claimed she saw Nicole push Deimos into the river, killing the man she now claims was her husband.

With no real evidence to back up her own claims, and no body yet, Nicole could go down for Deimos' murder, even though she committed no crime. But if Deimos is getting brought back to a healthy state, he could easily return to Salem and blow Kate's story completely open.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
