'The Blacklist' Season 4: Premiere Date Revealed! What Does Alexander Kirk Have Planed? [VIDEO]
The search is on for The Blacklist's Liz Keen...again. Last year, Lizzie and Red were fleeing the FBI. This fall, the Post Office team may be Ms. Keen's only hope.
Baby Agnes changed Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom's (Ryan Eggold) lives in a drastic way last spring, and the reunited couple quickly realized that their violent lives weren't exactly conducive to parenthood. In an effort to shield their little girl from Red's dangerous influence, Liz faked her death. Her post-mortem reunion with Tom was short lived however, as Alexander Kirk immediately shattered their carful plans.
When The Blacklist returns to NBC on Sept. 22, Tom, Red (James Spader), and the FBI will have to rescue the new mother from the clutches of her alleged father. Kirk went to great lengths to find his long-lost child, but his intentions might be far from fatherly.
"I don't think she trusts this guy," Boone previewed, according to Entertainment Weekly. "He took away her family and possibly the anonymity she tried to gain by faking her death."
There's all matter of thought running through Liz's head in the final moments of "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion, " and those fears will continue to permeate the story when season 4 begins.
"He says he's her father, but is he going to hurt her, help her, be kind to her, or does he want to destroy her?" executive producer John Eisendrath teased, according to Entertainment Weekly.
At least Tom will stick around to help her out. NBC has yet to realize a premiere date for the eight-episode Blacklist: Redemption, which means the parent series won't have to bid goodbye to Eggold quite yet.
