He has made excuses for everything his wife does that has led to others questioning her motives, but even Devon (Bryton James) may start taking a second look when it comes to how Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is acting lately on The Young and the Restless.

Her ambitious nature to get what she wants is nothing new, but now, Lily (Christel Khalil) will try to convince her brother that Hilary is also setting her sights on potentially scoring a new man in case Devon ever woke up and realized she was so manipulative. And when she tells him about Hilary's fainting spell which led to Jack (Peter Bergman) taking care of her, he may decide to question if there's something going on between the two.

"The only thing wrong with Hilary is Hilary. She faked a fainting spell to get Jack's attention," Lily says in a preview clip for the Friday, June 17 episode.

Devon will initially try to brush off what Lily says, but after noticing how Hilary and Jack work together, and how Jack covers Hilary's hand when she starts to have a tremor, he will start to wonder if there is some truth to Lily's story.

What Devon doesn't know, and what Hilary is refusing to tell him, is that the drug that was used to bring her back after her coma is starting to fail, and she's close to relapsing, which could result in her death. The only others who know are Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Neville (Michael E. Knight), who are trying to find a way to make the drug work again, though their clashes with Hilary over getting it fast-tracked for FDA approval before it was ready will lead to more strains in the working relationship between them, as Hilary will accuse them both of wanting her dead to make their lives easier.

"My life is on the line, and you two do nothing but fight me," she snaps in the clip. "I swear to God you probably want me to die."

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
