'Game of Thrones' Season 3 Spoilers Update: Six New Characters Set To Be Unveiled During Current Season, Details & VIDEO
New spoilers have come out for season 3 of HBO's hit period piece Game of Thrones, as the series is reportedly set to considerably expand its cast.
According to TV Over Mind, the show will be unveiling the following characters throughout the course of the current season:
Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds), Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer), Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies), Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg), Jojen (Thomas Sangster) and Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick).
The site also stated that Ros (Esme Bianco) and Lord Varys' (Conleth Hill) partnership, which began in season 2, will continue to progress in some unexpected ways.
In other happenings, Queen Regent Cersei (Lena Heady) will reportedly become close to her brother Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), according to the site.
Heady recently elaborated on her character's changing relationship with Tyrion, and explained that their common bond is attributed to the wrath of their father.
"Interestingly, her only ally is Tyrion. It's sort of an interesting dynamic between those two. They share a common ground because they're both terrified of their father," Heady told Entertainment Weekly.
Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) and Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldeau) have also become rather close, as the latter's captivity may be pushed aside when the former depends on him to fend off some attackers.
Next up for HBO's Game of Thrones will be its And Now His Watch Is Ended episode on Sunday, April 21 at 9 p.m. EDT. The teaser promo for this week's installment can be viewed below.
