'RHOC' Cast: Vicki Gunvalson Nearly Quit, Gushes Over Kelly Dodd, New Boyfriend [VIDEO]
Vicki Gunvalson nearly said goodbye to Bravo after The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10.
Following a hurtful storyline which involved the allegedly fake cancer diagnosis of her former boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, Gunvalson questioned whether or not she could endure another season.
"I didn't [think I'd return.] I didn't think I had the strength," Gunvalson revealed during an interview with E! News on Friday, "but you know what, my story wasn't finished. I'm not gonna end as a victim. I'm not going to let these women have the last say-so in what they believe the truth was."
While season 11 got off to a rocky start, Gunvalson said she was thrilled to meet her newest co-star, Kelly Dodd, who was ironically brought onto the series as a friend of Gunvalson's nemesis, Meghan King Edmonds.
"I think what we're gonna see this season is it definitely starts off very awkward, but the best part of this season is we have a new cast member," Gunvalson said of Dodd. "She bring a whole lot of opinions and I love her. We have a great relationship."
Meanwhile, Gunvalson's relationship with Tamra Judge has once again taken a turn for the worse.
"I think that's how [Tamra] wants to be portrayed, as a lasher-outer or a s--t-stirrer or whatever people want to call it," Gunvalson explained. "She did it to Alexis [Bellino], she did it to Gretchen [Rossi], she did it to Jeana [Keough]. She's done it to every single cast member. Who does she have left? She goes after me because I'm the OG of the OC, so she's going to try to go after me when she can."
As for Gunvalson's new boyfriend, whom she's been flaunting on Instagram, he's been a total hit with her family.
“[Briana] loves him!” Gunvalson revealed to Us Weekly during the Real Housewives of Orange County 10-year anniversary party in L.A. on Thursday. “They do wine night together when I’m working or traveling. She calls him and says, ‘Steve, are you coming over?’ It’s so funny!”
