CW's The Vampire Diaries will kick off another brand new episode tonight. While the vampire series has continued to deliver at the high level that most of its fans expect, it's being reported that they'll be in for quite the shock on how the story will ultimately unfold.

According to Hollywood Life, the May 9 installment of the show, which is actually titled The Walking Dead, will reportedly feature some of its deceased characters returning as ghosts and living once again, but "some with good intentions and some bent on revenge."

While there are clearly endless possibilities as to just who would return from the afterlife, there clearly are a few names that are more probable than others.

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Jenna (Sara Canning) and Alaric (Matt Davis) are three fan favorites that most fans would favor, stated the site.

However Lexi (Arielle Kebbel), Anna (Malese Jow), and Vicki (Kayla Ewell) are three others that allegedly shouldn't be ruled out either.

Next up for CW's The Vampire Diaries will be its Pictures of You episode, which airs on Thursday, April 18 at 9/8c.
