'Big Brother 18' Live Feeds Updates: Female Alliances Forming As Newbie Group Dissipates? [VIDEO]
The live feeds have officially turned on in the Big Brother 18 house, revealing the recently-formed alliances and the results of the new competition.
Head of Household: Nicole Franzel
Nominees: Jozea Flores, Paul Abrahamian and Paulie Calafiore
Other houseguests: Bridgette Dunning, Bronte D'Acquisto, Corey Brooks, Da'Vonne Rogers, Frank Eudy, James Huling, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, Tiffany Rousso, Victor Arroyo and Zakiyah Everette
After the live feeds went live Thursday night, it became apparent that Paul was nominated for eviction alongside Jozea and Paulie. This is because the special competition (which replaces Battle of the Block) allows the winner to secretly nominate a third person for eviction - similar to the MVP twist from BB15. It's not 100 percent confirmed who won the competition, but it looks like it may have been Nicole.
With that said, the plan still looks to be evicting Jozea, who apparently caused even more trouble before the live feeds turned on. James spoke about some of the comments Jozea made about how the 4th of July shouldn't be a holiday and that nobody asked the military to die for our freedoms. By the looks of it, Jozea is digging a deeper hole for himself.
Meanwhile, the big power alliance of the season has also been revealed. Da'Vonne, Frank, James, Nicole have aligned with Corey, Tiffany and Zakiyah, with Paulie as an alternate. Within that group are two suballiances, split up by gender. It appears that the female group is stronger, as they are each in charge of keeping tabs on one of their male housemates. They are also calling themselves the "Fatal 5."
There's also another all-female alliance that has formed called the Powerpuff Girls, consisting of Bridgette, Bronte and Natalie. Bronte and Natalie agreed that they would vote for a woman to win over a man in the Final 2, no matter who it was.
As of now it's unclear if the big newbie alliance is officially over, but it looks like any hope of the newbies ganging up on the veterans at this point is all but lost.
Big Brother 18 returns with a new episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
