He was pushed aside when it came to his romance with Belle (Martha Madison) on Days of Our Lives when she decided to reunite with Shawn (Brandon Beemer), but fans of Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) don't need to worry that he could be alone for too long.

In a new interview, Lavoisier hints that he could strike up another romance this summer, with another familiar face from Phillip's past, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin).

"Well nothing heals a broken heart like a new love-that's an old love," he joked with Soap Central. "And how can you not fall in love with Chloe when you look at her? Whether it's for the first time or the fifth time. Chloe is right around the corner."

He also teased that with Chloe so close to Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), and possibly even sharing some romantic history with him years before, her return to Salem, and some sort of rekindled romance with Phillip could lead to another confusing love triangle, which would only be more awkward when Phillip and Deimos' failed partnership is also factored in.

Lavoisier also admitted that his constantly working with both Irizarry and John Aniston (who portrays his on-screen father, Victor), is something he can't think about because he'd be intimidated, though he does love talking to them, especially Aniston, to get a feel of the days of the past.

"You know, if I think too much about John Aniston, I won't be able to work," he said. "So I just think, 'That's Victor, that's my dad.' If I think of the actual reality of working with John, I might crumble. So I try to out that aside so I can hold my own. But John is just so funny, and we sit there and talk, and he throws out the occasional joke. I have always enjoyed talking to older people. People who are 70 and older, I can sit and talk to them [for hours]."

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
