Aviva Drescher Out? Real Housewives of New York City Star Hasn't Been Offered Role in Season 6
Aviva Drescher, known as one of the biggest drama queens of Bravo's hit reality tv show "Real Housewives of New York," may be ousted from the series, according to the New York Post's Page Six on Friday.
The reality tv actress who is married to Wall Street investment banker Reid Drescher , hasn't been asked back to season 6 of the "Real Housewives of New York," reports Page Six. The move is unusual, since other cast members Ramona Singer, Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill have been signed on and will start filming in three weeks.
Adding to the drama, Drescher, reportedly moved to a new house because in her previous Upper East side apartment, because security didn't allow cameras to tape inside the building.
"She's literally packing up boxes to move into this house she's rented, which she doesn't even like, so she can be on the show more - and they're not bringing her back," a source familiar with the situation told the paper.
But reports say, there are still hopes that she may be asked back in the show.
Aviva, who suffered an accident at age six and had to have her leg amputated, has been outspoken about her experience and has turned to her Facebook page to encourage survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings.
In the wake of the Boston Marathon Bombings, where 3 people were killed and about 180 injured, the mother of four, reached out to those who were injured, many of whom had their legs amputated.
"I hope in the aftermath of this tragedy, the new amputees can find hope that their life can continue to be a functional and happy one," she wrote on Tuesday, a day after the attacks.
But Drescher is also known for her many fights. In last year's season of "The Real Housewives of New York," Drescher was at the center of many feuds with other cast members.
