More actors will soon be off the canvas at Days of Our Lives.

According to reports, both Jonathan McClendon, who portrays Chase Jennings, and Drake Hogestyn, who portrays John Black, are both going to be off the canvas of the show.

Hogestyn's absence is scheduled to be temporary however, as he has been written off to be given time to recover following an injury after a freak accident, Soap Central reports.

Hogestyn reportedly fell out of a tree at his home and suffered from internal bleeding back in May, and because of the accident, he hasn't been filming for the past several weeks. It is unclear how long he will be out, or how his absence will be explained on-screen.

McClendon meanwhile has told his fans on Twitter that he hasn't been filming for a while on the show, and doesn't believe he'll be asked back to film new scenes again anytime soon, and he has put out that he thinks his time on the show is done.

"It's true guys...#days has not contacted me for any episodes in multiple months. It was a real pleasure being on @nbcdays," he wrote.

The news of the two new departures comes on the heels of several others from the show's cast. Kate Mansi opted not to renew her contract at the end of last year and was written off the canvas during the June 24th episode. Her replacement as Abigail Deveraux, Marci Miller, is scheduled to debut in the fall.

Jen Lilley, who portrays Theresa Donovan, also announced plans to leave the show back in May, and the show fired Sal Stowers (Lani Price), Marie Wilson (Summer), Martha Madison (Belle Black) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) earlier this year.

However, Freddie Smith is scheduled to return in the role of Sonny Kiriakis later this summer, and to help usher out Lilley's Theresa, Kassie De Paiva, Charles Shaughnessy and Patsy Pease are returning as Eve, Shane and Kimberly.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
