'Breaking Amish: Return to Amish' Spoilers: Everything We Learned In Show's Season 3 Premiere [VIDEO]
Life has certainly changed for the Return to Amish crew in the year since the last season of their show appeared, and according to the season premiere episode, things only seem to be getting more intense as time goes on.
Here's everything we learned about the cast and their current situations during the episode.
Mary
The Schmucker matriarch finally learned what her church felt her fate should be for her continuing to act against their traditions and pursue some parts of an English lifestyle after she was banished. Knowing her future could no longer be in Punxsutawney, she prepared to start over in Lancaster. However, the move does come with a price, since her husband, Chester, is staying behind in Punxsy.
Jeremiah
After an arrest last year for public drunkenness, Jeremiah said he decided to clean up his act, and did so by starting a business where he made and served Amish donuts at fairs.
Sabrina
After losing custody of her daughter Oakley when she became homeless, Sabrina became addicted to heroin, but has since cleaned up her act thanks to rehab and therapy. She is now on a mission to get her daughter back for good, but her resolve appears to be tested by what seems like a lack of support from Rebecca and Abe.
Kate
In New York, Kate is furthering her dreams to become a fashion designer by taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and interning for Cynthia Rowley. She says she's single, though her new co-workers seem to suspect she's trying to hide something.
Rebecca & Abe
The couple's marriage is going through a bit of a rough spot due to Abe's grueling work schedule as a truck driver, which has him gone more days out of the week then he is home. The situation is causing tension for them. They are also upset with Sabrina because they did try to help her before by getting her an apartment in Punxsy, but she only lasted three days before she headed back to Lancaster.
Andrew
At a halfway house in Pittsburgh as a part of his sentencing on drug charges, Andrew is finding his situation difficult, and admits being there wants him to get high. And though Mary has given him an ultimatum to get away from Chapel, he insists he still wants to be with her and work things out in their marriage.
