Waka Flocka is fighting to get Tammy Rivera back after the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star announced their split earlier this month. And it looks like there it just might work.

Rivera spoke with VH1 Tuesday and revealed that her and Waka are actually in a good place right now; even though they are currently not together.

“We have a great relationship,” she said. “You know, he just working on him and I’m working on me and you know he’s fighting for his family right now.”

That is definitely true. Waka has had no problem admitting his mistakes and taking the blame for their marital status on social media.

In one of his latest tweets he wrote, “Tammy ben on my mind 24/7… Somebody tell her to call me.”

As for whether they will get back together, Rivera said, “time will tell.”

“He’s my husband. I take my marriage very serious so it’s not like I’m gonna be like, ‘Oop, nope it’s over,’ but he’s gonna have to work on himself a lot. And I’m working on myself. And if God be willing for us to be together, then that’s what’s gonna happen. But right now, we’re just focusing on, youk now, I’m focusing on me. And he, I guess, is finally focusing on trying to keep his family.”

Fans saw just how much Waka’s actions have impacted his family when Rivera and Waka’s mother Debra Antney broke down about the split on Monday night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
