NeNe Leakes has confirmed that she will not be returning for the ninth season of Bravo’s juggernaut series The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But she also hinted that it was not her choice to leave the show after joining in its first season.

Leakes is the only star of the show who has been on since the beginning. But now her future on the hit reality program is in jeopardy.

She took to Twitter to address rumors that she was not returning because she had too many things going on.

“LIES! I’m NEVER too busy for more work! I’ve ALWAYS supported RHOA,” Leakes tweeted earlier this week.

She then responded to a fan who asked if her tweet was confirmation she would be back for the upcoming new episodes. “No but to no fault of mine,” she revealed.

She also told another fan, “Be clear, I never said I wasn’t available.”

Since starring in The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Leakes has been in a Broadway’s Cinderella and now co-hosts ABC's To Tell The Truth game show with acting legend Betty White. Still, she seems to feel a way about her recent departure from the show that she has often credited for her career, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “First they love ya, then they hate on you and try to turn others against you #iseeyouclearly #yeahYOU”

She ended with, “Let’s be clear…I am loyal & faithful! I’m NEVER 2 busy 4 any1 or anything that has helped launched my career”
