'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Spoilers: Inside Scoop On Liars' Future Relationship With Mona, Details & VIDEO
Just a few months away from its season 4 debut, ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars fans are surely getting impatient when it comes to the wait for their favorite show's return.
Many of Rosewood's loyalists are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing just how the Mona (Janell Parish) and Liars alliance will ultimately unfold.
Executive producer/writer Oliver Goldstick recently spoke to TVLine about the dynamic between the two parties.
"It is very cool to come into Season 4 with five PLL's, and that's what we're doing - which is what it was when Alison was still 'alive.' We come into Season 4 exploring what it means when you get an adjunct PLL, which is now Mona, their former tormentor. You want to keep her close, because God knows she has more insight than anybody into who's been doing this to them," he said.
Wet Paint suspected that "keeping Mona close" will most certainly be no easy task for Spencer (Troian Bellisario), whose rage towards Mona was brought to unprecedented heights in season 3.
"I always think of it as a spectrum. Hanna may trust her the most, only because they shared a year of close friendship, but Spencer sees her as an attention whore who she'd never trust," Oliver added.
Pretty Little Liars will be launching its fourth season on Tuesday, June 11 at 8/7c on ABC Family. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the series.
