He and Theresa (Jen Lilley) went to Vegas to confront Summer (Marie Wilson) about Tate's disappearance and didn't get the answers they hoped to receive from her, but now, they may have an idea of who tried to order her to kidnap their son, and Brady (Eric Martsolf) will find himself wondering if the situation he least expected could be true on Days of Our Lives.

To protect herself, Summer admitted to the pair that she had been blackmailed by whoever wanted Tate because of her situation with Clark, something she was desperate to keep secret, though she insisted that she never went through with the plan and didn't take Tate. She gave them a number that she had been left, and they learned that it was for a dummy corporation, which they need to trace to see who owned it, believing it will lead them to who ordered Tate's kidnapping. However, after finding Summer's secret stash of cash, they also believed that there was more she didn't tell them. Backed into a corner, Summer tossed Victor's (John Aniston) name out as the one who was behind the kidnapping.

Now, back in Salem, Brady will begin looking into the possibility that his grandfather could have been orchestrating the whole scheme. Normally, Summer's assertions wouldn't have been trusted, since she was known to be a con woman, but Victor has never hidden his disdain for Theresa, and the fact that Brady is planning on building a life with her, for their son.

As he continues trying to figure out the truth behind his son's kidnapping, Brady will seek out Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to see what she may be able to tell him that could help him either absolve Victor, or connect him to the crime. And though he doesn't want to believe his grandfather could have stooped so low, if Maggie tells him what Victor said about keeping Tate away from Theresa whenever he is found, Brady could realize that it is very possible that Victor is guilty of far more than believed.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
