The investigation to try and track down his missing son has led to numerous dead ends and an increased lack of hope that they'll ever recover the infant, but now, a new break in the case will lead Brady (Eric Martsolf) and John (Drake Hogestyn) to Deimos's (Vincent Irizarry) door and a potential solid lead in the case on Days of Our Lives.

The mysterious Chopin Group, which they had believed initially wa tied to Victor (John Aniston) actually has some connections to Deimos, during his days as a Greek mobster, and now, it seems as if whoever kidnapped Tate was trying to set up not only Summer (Marie Wilson) to look like the guilty party with blackmail over the truth about her killing Clark getting out, but also Victor. And the only person who it would make sense would want to set Victor up so spectacularly would be Deimos.

Of course, if he is involved, Deimos won't readily admit to it, even with evidence that seems to suggest he has something to do with it. In fact, he will use his own evidence to counter the claims that he turned over a new leaf, and isn't the same man he was when he came to town, hell-bent on revenge.

In fact, Deimos recently even made a shocking gesture towards Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), who has been paralyzed ever since he drugged her and she fell down the stairs and damaged her spine. He now managed to get a doctor who could fix her condition for good to agree to the surgery, which would help her walk again, and he has even made Victor an offer to allow them to split the fortune Victor had amassed and Deimos had stolen from him.

However, if the evidence against him proves to be decent enough where he will be unable to prove himself to not still be a bad guy, he could wind up instead back on the wrong side of the law, and as the lone suspect in Tate's disappearance.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
