The season 9 finale of Grey's Anatomy draws near and spoilers continue to surface about the respective episode, with one in specific noting an "explosion" that will take place at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

The show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, warned viewers about a drama-filled final episode via Twitter when she wrote, "People. I warned you about the GA finale so you could brace yourself or whatever."

E! News added that the May finale, shown in two parts, will have an "explosion" in part one. In addition, the part two airing on May 16, titled Perfect Storm, will have a natural disaster similar to Superstorm Sandy that will shake the hospital and its staff.

The next new episode of Grey's Anatomy airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The investigation by the Center for Disease Control will begin in the new episode, Sleeping Monster, as a follow-up to several post-surgical infections. Baily is at the center of the case and a video clip from the episode shows one person risking her job in order to help Baily.

Meredith Grey and the rest of the hospital doctors on the board have a heated confrontation with Jackson where they suggest that he is "throwing Bailey under the bus" and treating her "like a criminal." Jackson, head of the board, explains that the CDC is only freezing Bailey's filed and he asked them not to discuss anything with her. He also tells them to keep their distance.

Bailey figures out her fellow attendees are avoiding her and she sits down with Grey to find out what is going on. Bailey is concerned about her the status of her patient, since she is locked out of the system and can't access his chart. Grey then goes against Avery's orders and sides over the file to Bailey but before the exchange is complete. Avery catches them in the act. Watch the clip below and see.
