They were doing well in their relationship until she decided he had been playing her, but quickly found their way back to one another again, but now the biggest test yet could arrive for Summer (Hunter King) and Luca's (Miles Gaston Villanueva) relationship on The Young and the Restless.

Summer realized Luca was more involved in the details of the Newman Oil Spill getting out to the press than she knew, and tricked him into showing her his true colors. However, when she learned that afterwards, her father, Nick (Joshua Morrow), then tried to convince him to leave town, Summer changed her tune, left Newman Enterprises instead, and reunited with Luca.

Now, she will learn from him that while he appreciates what she gave up to be with him, that he thinks she needs to go back to work at the family company, and after what happened recently, she will immediately question his motives for pushing her back there.

"You think I should stay at Newman Enterprises. Why would I do that?" She asks in a preview clip for the Wednesday, August 3 episode.

Luca will assure her he isn't trying to find a way to worm into the company and get more secrets that he can expose to the press again, and that he just wants her to do what she loves, and he knows she loves working with her family and with the company.

After their talk, Summer will then go back to the office and tell her grandfather, Victor (Eric Braden) that she plans to stay, and will warn both him and Nick that Luca was the reason behind her decision to stay, even though the two will be annoyed to learn that she still wants him around. However, when Luca drops by to see her in her office, he will be the one who earns a chilly reception from her, and then she will drop a bomb on him that explains why-she's late, and she could be pregnant with his child.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
