'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 9 Cast: Phaedra Parks Speaks Out About Alleged Bomb Threat [VIDEO]
Phaedra Parks has broken her silence after a rapper, Drama, allegedly tried to harm her last week; and what she has to say is shocking.
Apparently is what all a big misunderstanding, Parks told TMZ Wednesday.
She said Drama was stopping by her office in Atlanta to visit her but went to the wrong floor. He wanted to see Parks to give her his latest album. But the receptionist told him to leave because he was in the wrong area. He made it clear he wasn’t going to leave (at least not voluntarily), so the receptionist called for security.
Drama’s mother spoke with TMZ as well and set the record straight. She said Drama told security, “I have a bomb CD. It’s about to blow up.”
That’s when security acted as if Drama really had a bomb with him. One guard asked him if there was anything else Drama planned to explode. And Drama responded with, “I got that bomb CD in the car…”
He was actually speaking of CDs in his car.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after and ordered everyone to leave.
As for Parks, she said Drama was a victim of racial profiling. She said she is convinced that the only reason police got involved was because someone spotted a man with baggy clothes, gold teeth, and “assumed the worst.”
Still, she did not deny that Drama’s claim of having a “bomb” anything was the best. But she added that that is just part of his vernacular.
Drama is still in custody after being arrested for allegedly making terrorist threats. Parks has suggested a criminal attorney to represent him.
