The last person he ever wanted tp find out about his secret relationship did after seeing them kissing on the streets of Monte Carlo, and now, following Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rage, Eric (John McCook) will consider breaking things off with Quinn (Rena Sofer) for good on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The two had previously agreed that Steffy could never find out about their being together, but once she did and went ballistic, Eric promised her he would end things with Quinn. Now, Quinn will do her best to try to convince him to not let his granddaughter control his life, and will make her case to him for their relationship, insisting to him that she has fallen in love with him, despite that not being the initial plan.

"I tried to explain to her, but she was so angry she wouldn't listen," Quinn says in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 4 episode. "She wouldn't let me explain that my feelings for you were real."

Eric will maintain however that he needs to do whatever he can to keep his family together, and if that means he can't be wth her, he will need to respect Steffy's wishes, and so will she, forcing a devastated Quinn to promise he will never have to see her in his life ever again.

"You never have to see me again," she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton), who is the only one who has not yet heard that Quinn was in Monte Carlo and sleeping with Eric, will still be fuming over the situation he has where he was to watch Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Steffy's relationship and can't do anything about it, and he will sit with Eva (Kelly Kruger) as he discusses everything and admits that he knows Quinn will do something to hurt Steffy, even if Wyatt refuses to see it.

"Even if she's not here in Monte Carlo, I get the feeling that isn't not long before Quinn flips Steffy's world upside down," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
