Angie Miller was outstanding on "American Idol" followed by Amber Holcomb, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.

The Top 4 performance show of American Idol season 12 kicked off Wednesday night with great performances by the contestants, but as judge Nicki Minaj put it into words, today seemed to be "Angie Miller's night."

Miller received the best feedback from the judges for all of her three performances tonight while Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb and Kree Harrison received mixed reviews. At one point, Minaj even speculated that Harrison may be eliminated tomorrow but encouraged her saying that she still has a career ahead.

Carey however, disagreed with all the other three judges and praised Harrison, saying that she has never fallen behind in the competition, in her viewpoint. Carey seemed to be supportive of Glover but was also impressed by Miller.

During tonight's show, the contestants performed three songs, two solos and a duet. The first song was a song of their choice: Amber Holcomb performed Celine Dion's "The Power of Love," Candice Glover performed Drake's "Find Your Love," Kree Harrison performed Susan Tedeschi's "It Hurt So Bad" and Angie Miller, Jessie J's "Who You Are."

"The caliber of that performance was beyond," Carey told Miller after her performance at the piano.

Minaj called it "exceptional" and Randy Jackson said it was "ten out of ten out of ten for me."

The second round of performances were the duets. Amber and Kree started with Adele's "Rumour Has It" and Candice and Angie closed the round with Rihanna's "Stay." The judges clearly liked Candice and Angie over Amber and Kree.

For the last round of the night, the "one hit wonders," Amber performed Richard Harris/Donna Summer's "MacArthur Park," Candice did Bee Gees/Destiny's Child's "Emotion," Kree performed Procol Harem's "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and Angie sang Julie London's "Cry Me a River"

In between the performances, the producers showed segments of the contestants visiting a children's hospital in Los Angeles where they spent time with the patients and performed for them.

Last week, Kree landed at the bottom two and was nearly eliminated. The results show airs tomorrow night at 8p.m. EST.
