'Big Brother 18' Updates: Paulie Firmly In Control This Week Yet Again? [VIDEO]
The latest Big Brother 18 Head of Household competition was a real fight to the finish.
Head of Household: Victor Arroyo
Other houseguests: Bridgette Dunning, Corey Brooks, James Huling, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, Nicole Franzel, Paul Abrahamian, Paulie Calafiore and Zakiyah Everette
Bridgette and James were the first houseguests to drop in the HOH competition, making them Have-Nots for the week. Corey dropped next, so he will also be a Have-Not. The other six houseguests competing were on their discs for a while before Michelle started vomiting due to the quick, spinning movements. She ultimately fell and started crying about people having to clean up her vomit.
Nicole was next to drop, and then it was down to Natalie, Paulie, Victor and Zakiyah. After several minutes, Zakiyah suddenly dropped, followed shortly by Paulie. Then the real competition was on. Natalie and Victor tried to get the other one to drop but neither would budge. A full hour after Zakiyah and Paulie dropped, Natalie said she couldn't take it anymore and dropped, making Victor the new HOH.
After the competition, it took very little convincing on Paulie's part that Victor should put up Michelle and Zakiyah, a.k.a. the two people who voted to keep Da'Vonne this week. Victor said he would prefer for Zakiyah to go because he thought she hated him.
Paulie had a long discussion with Zakiyah about not really knowing what Victor was going to do, though he suggested that he's probably putting up Michelle and potentially targeting Natalie. It's still unclear on exactly how Zakiyah feels about Paulie at this point considering she's told others that she's "playing" him but still seems completely infatuated with him at the same time.
Paulie campaigned throughout the house to have Michelle be the one to go this week instead of Zakiyah, thinking he can control the latter more.
Victor will likely be nominating Michelle and Zakiyah on Friday and then the Veto competition is Saturday, which will probably determine how the rest of the week goes.
Big Brother 18 returns Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
