He has already appeared to murder Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) in an effort to take everything he felt he was robbed of from the other, more legitimate members, of the Cassadine family, and has now turned his attention to the only legitimate heir left, but Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) plans could be foiled on General Hospital.

After murdering Nikolas by shooting him, Valentin tried to then kill Ava (Maura West), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Jason (Billy Miller), Laura (Genie Francis), Lulu (Emme Rylan), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), but was unsuccessful in his plot. He then turned up in Port Charles, slept with Nina (Michelle Stafford) and went on his way. He has now arrived at Spencer's summer camp and told him he is his Uncle Theo and was sent by his father to fetch him, and the young boy has agreed to go with him. However, Sonny (Maurice Benard), suspicious about Valentin after hearing about everything that transpired on Cassadine Island, has also arrived at the camp, and will stand in Valentin's way when it comes to snatching Spencer and potentially affording him a similar fate to the one his father faced.

"Uncle Sonny, this is Theo," Spencer says in a preview clip for the Friday, August 5 episode as he makes introductions.

Sonny will know that Valentin isn't who he claims to be and has the wrong intentions when it comes to Spencer though, and mau thwart the attempt to likely eliminate the final true Cassadine heir standing in Valentin's way of amassing the entire fortune he felt he was robbed of for being a bastard.

Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, everyone else is on edge over Valentin's appearance, and after her experiences on the island, Sam will seek out her mother, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for answers on how the Cassadines kept seemingly coming back to life, only for Alexis to share a bone-chilling thought with her.

"Cassadines don't die,"Alexis says in the clip. "hey arise from the ashes."
