'Big Brother 18' Spoilers: Houseguests Split On Getting Out Michelle Or Zakiyah [VIDEO]
One Big Brother 18 houseguest is on the block for the first time this summer, and she is not handling it well.
Head of Household: Victor Arroyo
Nominees: Michelle Meyer and Zakiyah Everette
Other houseguests: Bridgette Dunning, Corey Brooks, James Huling, Natalie Negrotti, Nicole Franzel, Paul Abrahamian and Paulie Calafiore
As expected, Victor chose to nominate Michelle and Zakiyah for eviction on Friday. While Zakiyah has mostly played it cool since the ceremony, Michelle has mostly gone off the deep end. Michelle was crying (and sometimes full-blown sobbing) about being nominated; apparently Victor said something mean about her in his speech. Michelle asked Natalie and Nicole if they would use the Power of Veto on her, and they both said yes, even though they probably wouldn't.
Most of the houseguests have become aware of Michelle's frequent outbursts of emotion, but their have been two schools of thought about it. Some, like Paul, think that her emotional fragility is a good thing in the game because she's no longer a threat to win the game, or even win competitions. Others, like Paulie, have argued that an unstable Michelle could do some crazy things in this game if she were to get any power, and that's why she needs to go.
Friday was mostly a back-and-forth regarding who should go home between Michelle and Zakiyah. Paul and Victor really pushed for Zakiyah to go out, but Paulie, who has essentially become the cult leader at this point, is pushing for Michelle. He used a Derrick Levasseur-style tactic of agreeing with Paul and Victor that Zakiyah should go, even though he likely intends to push for Michelle to go later in the week.
It remains to be seen who the majority will target, though the Power of Veto competition could make things easier. If Michelle or Zakiyah were to win the Veto and take themselves down, it's very likely that the other person would be evicted, with Victor nominating ether Bridgette or Natalie as a pawn.
Big Brother 18 returns Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
