'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Cast Spotted In Georgia, Filming Underway? VIDEO
While AMC's The Walking Dead is still nearly six months away from airing its highly anticipated fourth season, this hasn't halted its loyalists from scouring the web for its latest dirt.
A previous announcement had been made that season 4 wouldn't begin filming until May 6 but it seems as though the production process may be starting up earlier. Several cast and crew members were said to have arrived in Georgia on April 23 for filming, according to Comic Book.
It's still unconfirmed by Walking Dead producers whether or not they have began shooting.
With most of the talent and production team in the southern vicinity something of some sort is indeed underway, which could be script meetings or location scoutings. Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) was spotted in Peachtree City, Ga., and even tweeted a message confirming that he was in the area.
Producers Greg Nicotero and Gale Anne Hurd were also in the state. Hurd took to Twitter to proclaim her whereabouts by writing, "Happy to be back in Georgia, my home away from home. Loved BBQ lunch in the sunshine today with the fantastic TWD crew."
Comic book writer/creator Robert Kirkman posted that he had returned to work in Georgia and also commented on some fine tasting pizza he indulged in, which he took a picture of. He wrote, "Walking Dead writers' room is in pizza heaven after lunch from @hollywoodpies way good pizza!"
The Walking Dead will begin filming its fourth season in May, which is set to air on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9/8 p.m. Central on AMC..
