Bethenny Frankel and her estranged husband Jason Hoppy faced off in divorce court on April 19 and it didn't end well.

Frankel looked "really tired [and] very, very thin," while Hoppy appeared "tan, put together, sharp [and] well rested," an eyewtness told E! News.

According to a report, Hoppy expressed that he is willing to share the responsibilities of their 2-year-old daughter Bryn with the daytime talk show host but she wants to raise her alone.

"Jason is agreeable to joint custody of Bryn, but Bethenny is absolutely balking," a source told Radar Online. "She wants sole custody of Bryn, period. No compromises. It makes no sense because Jason is a very active father and plans to be a huge part of his daughter's life," said the insider.

The source said that while Hoppy may have initially filed for sole custody he has since changed his mind because he realized that "Bryn needs her mommy."

"Jason has come a long way since he filed for divorce and requested sole custody of Bryn, just as Bethenny did when she initially filed. Jason doesn't want to cut Bethenny out of his daughter's life,'" the source added.

Frankel is alos reportedly "flummoxed" that her attorney, Allan Mayefsky, who also represented Katie Holmes in her divorce case with Tom Cruise, has not been successful in getting the same results as Holmes.

Frankel announced her separation from Hoppy on Dec. 23. and filed for divorce in January. Hoppy counterfiled her divorce petition with a list of his demands similar to Frankel's. According to TMZ, who obtained access to Hoppy's divorce papers, he is seeking everything Frankel has requested in her divorce petition: medical benefits that includes dental coverage, a life insurance policy taken out for herself with him and their daughter as beneficiaries, his legal fees from the divorce process taken care of, his account paid for and "exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence."

The couple share a $5 million, four-bedroom apartment in Tribeca, New York City.
