Team Arrow is playing down a man, or three, if you want to get technical. Olive Queen will need to make up the numbers, and that means fielding a new crop of Star City heroes.

Without Darhk and his minions stirring up trouble, a power vacuum will open in Star City's criminal underworld. As new villains seek to fill the void, the Green Arrow/newly elected mayor (Stephen Amell) will have to find away to fight evil on and off the books.

"Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity - but they're no longer the only vigilantes in town," The CW teased.

"Green Arrow's public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow."

Hmmm...so who join the team? Look for the like of Vigilante/Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra, Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), and Artemis/Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin) to help Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) battle this year's menace, Prometheus.

"He's our big bad for the year. We call him Prometheus," executive producer Marc Guggenheim said at San Diego Comic-Con. "It's not the Grant Morrison, Howard Porter Prometheus from the Justice League. He's a new character that fits in with the theme of legacy for this season. He's pretty badass and mean."
