'Revenge' Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Padma Returns & Emily and Nolan's Friendship is Tested'? VIDEO
Though the Revenge season two finale is a few weeks away, spoilers have already surfaced about the drama viewers can expect to see from residents of the Hamptons.
Gabriel Mann, who plays Nolan Ross in the ABC series, relayed details to TV Guide about the upcoming episode and even addressed reports of one character being killed before the season ends.
In a previous episode viewers learned that Ross' girlfriend, Padma (Dilshad Vadsaria), was killed after taken hostage by The Initiative. Though Aidan Mathus (Barry Sloane) said he saw her lifeless body in the episode, Mann revealed that her death is not certain and Padma might made a return in the show's storyline.
"[Although] where we left Padma at the end of the last episode was as close to the morgue as possible, I would say at the same time her storyline is far from finished. Is she still alive? In some ways, yes," Mann said. "Will she come walking back in again? That would be a bombshell that we may have to wait for Season 3 for. But yes, her legacy continues to live on."
Mann also said that new "plot twists," will cause Ross and Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) "to need each other in a way they never have," adding, "and we'll also start to see what the ramifications of that friendship has wrought in their lives."
An engagement is in the works for Thorne and Daniel Greyson (Joshua Bowman), but Mann said there will be a lot of screen time for Ross and Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) and Ross and Thorne in the season finale. Porter will be faced with an obstacle where more than ever he will need Thorne and Ross' help, and he will have to decide if he will take it or not.
Revenge Executive Producer Mike Kelley recently said one character will be killed off before the season ends. Mann did not reveal which character will be gone by addressed the news by admitting, "there were a lot of genuine tears shed in our table read for the very last episode."
He ended off by saying upcoming episodes will feature "a very, very unlikely alliance" that will finally start to come true. He described it as "the beginning of a beautiful marriage made in hell to be explored" in a potential season 3.
An all new episode of Revenge airs Sunday. Viewers can watch episode 19, titled Identity, on April 28 on ABC at 9 p.m., ET. Learn more about what to expect in the promotional video below.
