'Big Brother 18' Update: Paulie Talks Natalie Comments & His One 'Bargaining Chip' [VIDEO]
The most recent Big Brother 18 evictee speaks on where his game went wrong.
Paulie Calafiore loomed large over Big Brother 18 for weeks, until his rampant manipulations and lies were found out. The rest of the houseguests compared notes on Paulie's various deals and conspired to get him out of the house on Thursday.
Now out of the house, Paulie has opened up about where things went wrong and what his brother, Cody Calafiore, and his Big Brother partner Derrick Levasseur, would say about his game.
"I am not sure how Cody and Derrick will assess my game, but I am almost positive they will say I went wrong the week were I didn't nurture the relationship with Michelle," Paulie told TVGuide.com. "Also, [they wouldn't like me] allowing someone like Natalie to stay in the game as long as she did with how close she was getting to James."
Paulie also discussed his flagrant comments about Natalie and her breasts and how he didn't imagine such comments would get him in trouble in the game.
"Hindsight will always be 20/20," he admitted. "At the time, I didn't understand how deeply she had her hooks into James. I honestly thought that the loyalty and bond that was created within my alliance was unshakable at that point in the game, especially after a double eviction where Corey could have put up two guys."
There was also the case of Paulie speaking frequently this week about his aunt dying of cancer, to which he now said was "the only bargaining chip that I had considering my social game completely blew up because I would keep my word in regards to not targeting the people who saved me."
While Paulie is now going to the jury house, there's a chance we could see him back in the game. Next week there will be a returning juror competition, where the first five jurors compete for a spot back in the game.
Big Brother 18 airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. There's also a new episode airing tonight, Friday, at 8 p.m. ET.
